Professor Zhi Yu is a tenure-track faculty member of the School of International Business Administration at the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. He is also a member of the Shanghai "Pujiang Scholar Program" and a Research Associate of the China Free Trade Zone Research Collaboration Center, the Census Bureau of the U.S. Department of Commerce, and the U.S. Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. He received his PhD degree in finance from Renmin University of China and his PhD degree in economics from Georgetown University (U.S.). He once worked at China's National Commission of Development and Planning, the Research Department of the International Monetary Fund, and the Census Bureau of the U.S. Department of Commerce. His research focuses on international trade and finance, especially on micro-level studies of international trade policy.
